In a few short weeks I will be jobless and incomeless. Prospects for finding paid work in the Man's Land look slim, especially in this tail end of the GFC. Question: can I earn enough money from my writing to feed two adults and one large dog? Answer: not bloody likely considering my stuff is so weird that it gives weirdness a bad name. Still, what else is there? Wait around for the extinction event?

feeling down right now. don't want to carry on. haven't got the appetite for it any more. but I must (why?) and so I will. I feel obliged to stick around. I won't go into the reasons why. but I'd really like to go elsewhen. I have totally fallen out of love with the world. Actually, sorry, correction: not the world, just the species.
